From campus projects to real-world space missions, Stephanie Gowell has built a career at the forefront of the aerospace industry. She currently leads business development campaigns at Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, working where space, strategy, and innovation collide. Along the way, she’s held leadership roles at companies like Metrea, Masten Space Systems, ATLAS Space Operations, Ball Aerospace, and Lockheed Martin. Her journey began at the University of Michigan and even included research at NASA Ames. Stephanie brings hands-on space industry experience into the classroom—sharing what it really takes to build technology and businesses that launch.
