Dr. Mitch Rohde is all about bringing innovation to life. As the retired CEO and co-founder of Quantum Signal AI, he spent nearly 25 years building advanced, math-driven engineering solutions for clients like the US Department of Defense, Sony, and Raytheon. Under his leadership, the company delivered cutting-edge signal and image processing technologies, eventually catching the attention of Ford, which acquired the company in 2019. Now, Mitch leads Rohde Way, a boutique consulting firm helping startups reach their full potential, while also creating Otto’s, a one-of-a-kind private video arcade museum in Saline, Michigan.
Mitch’s expertise spans signal and image processing, robotics, circuit design, and simulation. He holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering and MS and PhD degrees in Biomedical Engineering, all from the University of Michigan. A passionate innovator and community leader, he serves on numerous boards and was honored with the University of Michigan College of Engineering Distinguished Alumni Service Award in 2022.
