Michael is all about the intersection of technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. As a Professor of Engineering Practice, he teaches The Management of Technology and Innovation, helping students explore how emerging technologies evolve—and how big ideas become real-world opportunities.

His research takes on some seriously complex challenges, from wastewater treatment and nutrient recovery to finding smarter ways to desalinate super-salty water. In short, Michael is into big problems, emerging tech, and figuring out what’s possible.
