Are you interested in developing intercultural skills and a global mindset?

Do you want to spend your summer by the beach in Portugal, immersing yourself in the local entrepreneurship scene? Perhaps you’d rather take in the sights of Copenhagen while experiencing firsthand the daily life of a young startup. Either way, studying ENTRepreneurship abroad may be the right fit for you.

All U-M undergraduates from all schools and colleges can participate in ENTR abroad programs through the Center for Entrepreneurship’s long-standing, collaborative partnership with IPE. U-M IPE has been recognized as a Top 5 University for study abroad programs by the Institute of International Education’s annual Open Doors Report

Approaching its eighth year in Summer 2023, this CFE/IPE partnership welcomes students who seek to gain skills in global innovation and entrepreneurship. With more than 250 student participants to date, these immersive multinational experiences are in-demand and student-focused.

Don’t just take our word for it. Former trek student, Jesse Rossenfield, says that her trip not only developed her entrepreneurial skills, but also led her make connections that will last a lifetime.

“I lived with one other American student from the University of Arkansas and two Danish students. Getting to hear their perspectives on everything from American politics to fashion trends was so eye opening. It was also a great opportunity to make connections with people all over the world, and I’m sure we’ll be keeping in touch!”

U-M Alumni networking opportunities and additional co-curricular opportunities are highlights of each CFE/IPE location. Program locations for Summer 2023 include Denmark and Portugal. Summer 2023’s application deadline is 8 February.
