Student-Focused Customer Discovery Workshop

NEW! Student-Focused Customer Discovery Workshop. The virtual, non-credit sessions will be held on the following Fridays from 3:00-5:00PM: Oct 16, Oct 23, Nov 6, and Nov 20. Open to ALL U-M undergraduate and graduate students with early to mid-stage entrepreneurial ideas. Ten (2-5 person) student teams will be accepted for Fall 2020.

Learn how to conduct customer interviews to help determine product-market fit

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES

Is your startup targeting the right customers? Develop and position your idea by understanding your customers' pain points

Develop familiarity with Lean LaunchPad concepts and tools such as customer discovery, value proposition design, and business model canvas

Map your customer ecosystem for your innovation

Explore the size of your potential market (top down and bottom up approach), assess the competition, and identify a first target market

Develop a commercialization roadmap identifying key milestones and required resources to move your idea forward
