Quicken Loans Detroit Demo Day is part of the continued commitment by Quicken Loans to strengthen entrepreneurship in the city. Demo Day is a one-day event Thursday, May 25, 2017, showcasing the best companies located, or willing to be located in Detroit, competing for capital totaling $1 million.
At Detroit Demo Day, entrepreneurs from various industries will compete for funding by way of pitch or demonstration. Demo days aren’t just for tech companies any more. Whether it’s a restaurant, retail store, or online business, companies will compete for funding in tiers ranging from $50,000 to $200,000.
Investors, entrepreneurs, and the like are invited to attend and support companies that will pitch and demo. This invitation also extends to the Creator Awards @ Detroit Demo Day, where the companies that receive capital from both Quicken Loans Detroit Demo Day and WeWork Creator Awards will be announced and honored, followed by a celebration with a special guest.
