From Crain’s Detroit Business 2/5/16: Tom Henderson

Detroit-based NextEnergy, in partnership with the University of Michigan’s Center for Entrepreneurship, has begun accepting applications for the third annual I-Corps Energy and Transportation training program for researchers and entrepreneurs focused on energy and transportation.

Applications will be accepted through April 3. The program begins on May 18 at NextEnergy in Midtown, across from TechTown, and concludes on June 24.

Modeled after the National Science Foundation’s I-Corps program, the NextEnergy program trains researchers and engineers to move their ideas out of the lab and into the commercial marketplace.
