The Early Tech Development (ETD) Program is run in partnership with Fast Forward Medical Innovation: Early Tech Development. It is a 4-week course designed for faculty researchers, practicing clinicians, postdoc researchers, graduate students, industry mentors and other individuals to work through the initial process of innovation and commercialization. ETD is a customized program with a hands-on learning experience for participants, with the end goal of reducing the commercialization risk of early stage therapeutics, diagnostics and healthcare IT applications/software and device technologies.

Coulter C3i partnership program with Biomedical Engineering is an 8-week commercialization planning program to prepare participants for funding and a Final Review Meeting. The goal of the program is to support collaborative research that addresses unmet clinical needs in regards to healthcare. The program covers the topics of market assessments, patentability assessments, regulatory reviews and reimbursement potential evaluations.
