Jacob is Managing Partner at Detroit Venture Partners, the venture capital investment arm of Dan Gilbert’s family office, which he joined at the fund’s inception in November 2010.

Dan Gilbert is the founder and majority owner of Detroit-based Quicken Loans (largest residential mortgage lender in the US), and majority owner of the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers.  Gilbert is also the largest owner of commercial real estate in Detroit, and is heavily committed to the city’s revitalization.

Jacob’s current board seats include StockX, 100 Thieves, WSC, Genius, GuardHat, Finicity, and Signal Advisors.  He is a proud Wolverine, holding an MBA, Law degree, and Bachelors degree, all from the University of Michigan.
