Adrian A. Ohmer

Principal, Detroit Innovate & First Step Fund, Invest Detroit

 

Adrian Ohmer joined Invest Detroit in 2013 as a member of its Venture Team, covering both Detroit Innovate and the First Step Fund. He sits on the Membership Committee of the Michigan Venture Capital Association, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Neutral Zone, where he sits on the Finance Committee. Additionally, he was the recipient of the 2015 Up & Coming Investor of the Year Award from the Michigan Venture Capital Association.

 

Adrian is a 2013 graduate of The University of Michigan Law School, where he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan Journal of Private Equity & Venture Capital Law. Prior to earning his J.D., Adrian worked at Goldman Sachs in New York City. He earned his B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University in 2006 with a concentration in Latin American & African comparative studies, and served as the Chairman of The Students of Georgetown, Inc., one of the largest student-run corporations in the country.
