We work better when we are empowered together which is why the CFE is excited to host another ‘Women in Innovation Meetup’ in the Bay Area. Last year, the CFE hosted our first coffee meet-up of alumnae working in/around innovation. Held at Sightglass Coffee’s flagship location in San Francisco, the goal of these meet-ups is simple: to connect alumnae leaders across sectors, functions, and university programs.
Women are only 26% of the computing workforce, and women of color are an even smaller percentage. With representation being so low, the CFE wants to build opportunities for women to stick together, learn from each other, and empower one another. This is an opportunity for you to network, learn from the best, and give back to other women who are trying to make it in predominantly male dominated fields. These meetups are meant to be gender inclusive and are open to people of all genders.
Stop by Slightglass Coffee in SOMA Tuesday, June 7th from 8:30 AM to 10 AM (PST), to meet your fellow Wolverines who run the innovation scene on stage and behind the scenes. Can’t make it but hoping to get updates on our future events? Sign up for our newsletter.
