Researcher Programs Manager
Bio: Lauren is the researcher programs manager for the NSF funded I-Corps™ programs that are facilitated by the CFE at the national and regional levels. She works directly with partner organizations and universities to run commercialization programs that provide education and resources to technology projects looking to transition out of the lab and into the commercial market. She also serves as a regional I-Corps™ teaching assistant for the Midwest I-Corps™ Node and is currently leading the CFE’s data management system implementation that will serve as a center-wide resource.
Prior to relocating back to her native hometown of Ann Arbor, Lauren’s previous experience included sales and recruiting at various startups in the Chicago area and program management for the Illinois Technology Association, a non-profit that creates visibility for growth-stage technology companies in greater Illinois. She received her B.S. in Kinesiology from Indiana University, Bloomington and is currently pursuing her Masters degree at the U-M School of Information specializing in Information Analysis and Retrieval while continuing to work full-time at the CFE. She plans to graduate in spring of 2019!
