The Center for Entrepreneurship is expanding its startup immersion trek offering to bring 30 of the University’s most entrepreneurial students to Washington, D.C. and New York City during Spring Break 2017. The inaugural Northeast Entrepreneurship Trek (NEXT) is a multi-city adventure to introduce U-M student entrepreneurs to two of the nation’s fastest-growing startup ecosystems. The metro areas of Washington and New York represent epicenters of the nation’s IoT and venture capital communities. NEXT’s students will engage with alumni entrepreneurs and leading startups, while gaining a deeper understanding of how public policy and corporate venture capital influence the entrepreneurial community.
Arrival: Monday, Feb. 27 (7 p.m.) in Washington, D.C.
Trek Pt. 1: Tuesday, Feb. 28-Wednesday, March 1
Travel: CFE-provided transport from DC-NYC (evening of Wednesday, March 1)
Trek Pt. 2: Thursday, March 2-Friday, March 3 in New York
No programming free-time in the city: Friday, March 3 evening-Saturday, March 4 morning
Departure: Anytime after Saturday morning when you check out

**Important note: The Center for Entrepreneurship will provide hotel accommodations for five nights and daily meals on this trip. All students are required to book and fund their own flights and/or ground transportation to Washington and from New York and cover any ad hoc expenses and purchases. In-Trek travel from Washington to New York will be provided.
